The new solution implemented looks to be working correctly. As we have a queue of pending event and profile updates to process, the current estimation is about 2 hours before it catches up. We'll keep updating as we work through it.

The current incident is caused by an issue with one of our service providers. The engineering team has identified that the Export and Query APIs are affected as well. Data collection is not affected, so no data is being lost. The engineering team is currently implementing a workaround while they wait for the service provider to resolve the issue on their end.
